Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend taking Pre-Calc if you enjoy math and plan on taking math and science related courses in college. Some students do not like it because it can be very difficult at times, but I really enjoyed it and Mr. Workman is a great teacher.

    Course highlights:

I learned basically everything that would set me up for taking Calculus for my senior year. A good amount of it was review, but we would oftentimes take topics that we learned in previous years and take them to the next level.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would suggest going to get help from Mr. Workman before school, during lunch, and after school. I did this at least twice a week to help grasp concepts and practice problems on the board. Especially when you receive a new review packet before the test, do not slack off and try to do it all the night before because he puts the most difficult problems on it and it counts for a lot of points.

My favorite part of this course was learning about graphs! I loved drawing graphs! My math teacher even made learning about graphs more fun by teaching us a graph dance!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say take the course! Math is something you will always need in life! Also, this course can be fun because it challenges you and makes you think.
