    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course provides a basic understanding of the human body and the functions of its different parts. Those interested in the biological sciences will be able to have a thorough introduction on the anatomy and physiology of the human body. From learning the basic anatomical portions of the body, to understanding the arterial blood gases that the body contains, the course does a great job of ensuring that all students have a strong foundation in the biological sciences.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course were the dissection of a cat. Personally, I want to be a surgeon when I get older. Being able to cut into a cat and explore its organs and tissues was a great experience. It gave me a glimpse of what I will be doing in the future and made me very confident on the path I will be following in the coming years.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To anyone considering this course, I would tell them to study a lot. In order to succeed in this course, students should study the material for at least an hour a night. The material is very heavy and if the basics are not understood properly, it will be very difficult to move forward and learn more.
