Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course due to its course content of the basic knowledge of the English language that every American citizen should know, need they wish to become successful in life.

    Course highlights:

I learned lots of new words and how to break seemingly long and complicated words down in order to hopefully find the definition. It's also a great reminder of the correct way to structure a sentence and the punctuation that may or may not be needed in that sentence.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the textbook as best you can. It will truly help you follow along in class better and understand the course content.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I found English 1101 to be rather easy. It involves lots of basic grammar and review from high school but also includes lots of essay writing. I would not worry too much about the number of essays, though. As long as you tackle each essay one by one, you will breeze right through them!

    Course highlights:

I felt like the more important highlights of this course were more about grammar, punctuation usage, and essay writing techniques. Learning more about essay writing skills and techniques certainly benefitted me.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not be afraid to ask your professors questions if you are confused or stuck on a topic! Many professors will happily provide you with help! If you are given an essay, do not wait until the last day to start writing it. Try to start the essay the exact date it was given, and work on it for about an hour or so, per day.
