Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is a challenging but rewarding course that makes me stretch outside of my comfort zone to learn new ideas and resources.

    Course highlights:

New writing techniques! I feel more prepared to complete reports as I head to college next year. In the past I didn't enjoy reading, however taking AP Literature courses has helped me discover that reading can be enjoyable.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Get an early start on assignments. Make sure you have ample study time.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class although strenuous at times is extremely profitable in the AP test as well as other standardize test. Mrs. Bauman teaches at a fast pace which always keeps the student on his or her toes, and paying attention.

    Course highlights:

I have and am still learning more about poetry, use of literary devices, grammar, vocab, and reading classic novels. I enjoy writing essays, especially literary analysis and personal narratives. The class is a close knit unit that is always willing to amalgamate in literary discussion.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If a student was considering taking this course, I would encourage them to take AP Literature, but also to be prepared for a challenge. The benefits of taking this course are numerous, but the student has to put in the work to reap the merits.
