Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Everyone interested in going to college has to take English Comp., but it does not have to be a thing to dread. I picked an amazing professor, with years of experience, who not only helped me become a significantly better writer, but opened my mind to different world views, using an array of devices. Such as, our reading's, short video clips on the topic of discussion, and, even, our classmates opinions.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the discussions. I learned how to write a better paper and to not always condemn someone who has a different view than me, for they might be the ones who have it right.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this class you need to read the reading assignments, because we discuss them heavily in class and the reading assignments correspond with the paper topic. There are not a ton of quizzes (all grammar quizzes), but they can be difficult; however, Dr. Barker gives the students the page numbers that correspond with the quizzes, for example, if the next quiz is on comma splices, he will give you the page number to the rules on comma splices and exercises.
