Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend anyone to take Dr. Barker's class. He is very good with students and will push you so that you have done your best. He also gives extra points so if you fail an essay you can actually pass it if you get all point on the revision.

    Course highlights:

During this course, I learned about African American Culture most of the time. He loves African American Culture and I thought it was going to be boring but I actually have grown to like it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to the writing center because they will be your best friend during his course.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It depends on you as a person. If you do your work and don't slack off you'll do fine. If you don't do all your work then I don't think you should take his class because your grade could slip at any second.

    Course highlights:

He didn't assign hard tasks, it was just a lot. This was a challenging class but I am glad that I took it. It helped me become a better writer through the strict grading.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay focused, come to class, always read, find a study partner or group, and don't be afraid to ask for help. If you make any mistake it could seriously hurt your grade.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

She is a great teacher who really works hard to make sure that you gain something from her class. She also works with students who struggle with writing until they write perfect research papers.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the short stories we read and the research paper we wrote. I learned how to analyze short stories and read more into what is not being said in the story. I also learned time management skills when writing a research paper.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice would be to start your research paper as soon as you get it assigned, because in order to write your best paper, you need as much time as you can get. Also when you need help make sure to go to your teacher because there main goal is to make sure you are doing your best in that class.
