    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

For this Eng 102 online class, the teacher was very nit-picky. This class was supposed to be geared for new students, yet felt like a class meant for much older, experienced scholars. Be very prepared for a hefty amount of reading each week (about 150+ pages per week at some points), as well. You will be expected to complete a quiz each week to see how well you retained information, and that was a bit overwhelming at times. This course is an eight week course, but is highly intensive.

    Course highlights:

I was stretched tremendously through this course. I really learned how to buckle down and get it done. By the time the class was finished, my writing had noticeably improved.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice for those considering this course is to make sure you continually keep up with your assigned reading. Try not to get behind even though you will be expected to read a heavy amount. The diligence you have will be paid off when you have to do the quizzes.
