Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Gurley genuinely prepares you for the real world. We discuss current events, watch past presidential debates, and argue about what we think the country needs or doesn't need.

    Course highlights:

I loved learning about the current events because I could bring them up in conversation when I wasn't sure what to say.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Please study out of the book. While we discuss things in class that do not come from the book, the testes do!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend taking ECO/GOVT as a course to take. While taking this course I became more aware of the truth and the knowledge of where I came from. I discovered the history of what we call America and a deeper view of the world in a different perspective.

    Course highlights:

There were many highlights while taking this course such as :listening to debates from the 2016 election, class discussions about racial discrimination, group projects analyzing nationwide issues, as well as creating, marketing, and selling products that raised money to donate to different charities.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The things that you need to not only pass this course; but to excel, is very simple. All you need is pen and paper, as well as a attentive ear to hear the lecture brought forth every day. Ask questions, get engaged in class in order to grasp the full concept of what you are learning.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Because this is a course where you really get to dive in to things you wouldn't regularly know without having a class on it. It's a necessary class to take to prepare you for the future

    Course highlights:

For one, I learned that the government is a lot more complex than I thought. This comes into play when talking about how a bill gets verified and accepted. It is a very long process.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

For some advice to future kids in that class, take advantage of taking good notes. It will really help in the long run
