    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because you learn a lot about how the government works. Even if you feel like you already know a lot about it, I promise that he will blow your mind with stuff you did not know about.

    Course highlights:

What stood out to me was when we talked about the function of the different government branches. I always got the different branches mixed up with what their roles are, but after this class I can say that I know all three.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

If I would give advice it would be that you need to pay attention and class and get your homework turned in on time. If you pay attention in class and even take notes then you will retain the information better, which is what helped me.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

We The People is an absolutely wonderful course. It allows the student to delve into the Constitution and learn all the ins and outs of it. You learn a ton through this course and in a short amount of time.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was the competition at the end of the semester. It forces the student to learn your material. The experience is unlike any other and is invaluable.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not procrastinate in your work. Take lots of notes. Make sure you consult with your group and make sure you are able to get along with them.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class to anyone who has a desire to learn and is willing to put in the hard work in order to achieve. At the end of the semester, the class participates in a regional We The People contest against other schools. It is very rewarding to see the fruits of your hard work at this competition and you will be amazed how much you have learned.

    Course highlights:

Mr. Wilson is an amazing teacher. Before taking this class, I had a very basic knowledge of our country's government. Now, because of Mr. Wilson and my personal research, I can extensively talk about the expansion of presidential power, the value of dissents in the Supreme Court, and the influence the public's expectations has on our legislative branch. I am very grateful that I took this class because having a strong knowledge of our government and participating in politics are a part of being a good American citizen.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The biggest thing that I could recommend to a student taking this course would be to work ahead. The closer the competition gets, the more stress you will have if you did not prepare ahead of time. Research early on when things are not as stressful and it will greatly pay off!
