I not only learned a basic understanding of biology, but I was challenged to apply my knowledge to solve problems presented to me. For example, one could gain an extra credit point by applying what we learned in class about vaccines to "design" your own to fix the Zikka virus. I was also motivated to do my own research and learn more about a topic.

Bring flashcards to class, you will need them. It is better to fill them out in class and use them as study tools later on because you can ask questions if you have any. Also, ATTEND MENTOR SESSIONS. Everything covered in those sessions appear on the quizzes EXACTLY.
