    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Human physiology is a fascinating subject, marrying biology with the actual functionality of just how our bodies work all our lives. I really enjoyed how Dr. Shepherd's PowerPoints are colorful and engaging, making dense pathways and topics more streamlined and much clearer than a textbook.

    Course highlights:

The pathways and mechanisms for a lot of biological functions in this course were explained and presented in a very clear manner, which made it much more enjoyable since human physiology can seem daunting at first. The PowerPoints in particular are fantastic, full of colors and comprehensible figures.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Just pay attention in class and read over the slides several times; they're very easy to read and it makes the topics a lot simpler than you may think at first!
