Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. Dubus is one of the most influential teachers I have ever had. She is extremely passionate about what she does and really knows how to get the information through to students.

    Course highlights:

The information that really stood out to me during this course was when we learned about the Supreme Court. There are many court cases that have shape society to what it is today. Without those cases, so many different changes, such as segregation, could possibly still be in our society today.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are considering this course, go into it with an open mind. I particularly felt embarrassed to enter the course because of how little I knew about politics. Now, I look forward to going to class and realized that there is so much more to this world and our history than just politics itself.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to anyone because it helps to give a better understanding of the way our government works. Personally, I was not very aware of how our government works, but I am now, which is beneficial to know before I begin voting.

    Course highlights:

So far, I have learned about all of the branches of the government and how they have power over each other. Before this course, I thought that the president was in charge of everyone, but I now know that is false.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this course, you must study a lot. It is very beneficial to remember what is going on in different chapters because they tend to simply build on that information. For example, one chapter was about all three branches of government, but then the following chapters focused on each of the three.
