    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I cannot remember the instructors name. I am sorry. She was the sweetest person to me. she could relate to this class as well as to us the students. she gave heart warming stories of people that she knew and did not know. I would recommend her class to everyone.

    Course highlights:

i learned how to deal with society as a whole not just focusing on one ethnic group.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Please take her class. she is very understanding and is there to help you.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I don't recommend taking this class M-F; course material is drug out and mostly irrelevant. More of an opinion class in my perspective, rather than open-debate. I appreciated the diversity of the classroom to hear opinions from different perspectives other than my own on social issues and controversial topics.

    Course highlights:

More in depth knowledge of functionalism, conflict theory and symbolic interactionism theory. I prefer INTRO SOC more, but perhaps that's biased because I didn't care for the author of the course textbook. Focused more on these concepts than the individuals who developed them.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the material, show up to class and participate with classmates. Be familiar with what material is covered each day on a broad scale.
