Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Throughout my High School career, history class was tough for me. I had a hard time retaining the facts, but my junior year I had Mr. Calvin as my teacher. For once history class wasn't boring. He made the information easy to understand. I finally had a good grade in that class. I enjoyed taking his class, and to think I almost switched out.

    Course highlights:

by taking this class I now know more about the United States. I can list all 50 states in less than 5 minutes. I can recognize the names of historical battles and their significant leaders/soldiers.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

FLASH CARDS! take notes thoroughly and don't be afraid to use markers. Make absolute sure that your notes are organized and in the correct format. study old tests and if you don't get them back don't be afraid to ask to see them to study.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it is challenging but also provides an interesting topic. There are so many directions Psych can go and being able to understand the various views will was definitely interesting to learn.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the activities and the charts the students are required to create on their own research of a topic. I learned a lot about the various views of Psych as well as the structure of the brain/functions of it, and even sleep patterns.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the work and do not slack off. In order to successfully complete the course you need to have put forth the effort and done the reading and studying to maintain the material.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The class has high demands of work and the teacher is good at explaining the material pretty well. The class's only problem was the two hour packets with handmade chapter notes given with little time to complete them.

    Course highlights:

Honestly, I learned little from what I already knew from this course and it was just information taught by almost every other history class.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

You needs lots of free time and I do not recommend taking more than one other AP course with this one in the same year. Create notes from the packets to help with time and efficiency.
