Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course can be very challenging, however, your math skills and knowledge increase. Calculus is basically every math you have ever taken put into one course. Thing that I do not understand jn previous math classes make more sense to me now. The hardest thing about calculus is the algebra, not the calculus itself.

    Course highlights:

From being in calc you have a better understanding of almost any type of math (i.e. algebra, geometry, trigonometry). The most important thing you learn is how to study and what works for you.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

After you get over the fact that many of the problems are ugly and long, calculus is pretty simple. If you can simplify and have a knowledge of basic algebra you'll pass the class with at least a C. Also, if you show Urquiza you are trying he will help you pass. Go to every study session and be engaged in the disscussions.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this teacher because he cares that his students actually learn.

    Course highlights:

I learned that math is hard but studying heps out a lot.l

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

That the teacher cares and that it will not be easy, but it is a good pre-college course.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is very challenging, but it pushes you to do better and become an overall student. The things learned other than math in this course can be applied to all subjects.

    Course highlights:

By taking this course I learned what it means to become a student. By taking this class I have learned how to balance my time, how to stay focussed and how to not give up when something is hard.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are considering taking this course i would because it gives you a chance to challenge yourself and see where you might need improvement. All in all i loved the class and the challenge it provided.
