    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course for many outstanding reasons. One reason I urge students to take AP are history is because there is much more to it than you think. Everyone has a speculation that you just look at a piece of art, but its far more than that. You get to look into the history of the art, such as where it is, what wars or events were occurring during the time period. I would highly recommend taking AP Art History, for you will not regret it.

    Course highlights:

A few of the highlights of this course are as follows. One highlight of the course is that there are many different types of art that you look at. There are religious aspects that you are able to learn which is a definiite highlight.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I would give the advice to always ask questions. There will be topics you might not be too sure about, so ask questions! Like many teachers say, no question is a stupid question if it is helping you better understand.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Look at a picture. Can you tell its history, painter, and inspirations? How do you admire art if you don't know anything about it but only its pretty colors. Mr. Smiths turns you into an art historian. I took this class as a freshmen, and I was one of the two only freshmen to take an AP class throughout the history of my high school. By taking this course, you become an art critic yourself. You understand and learn about art throughout the ages and develop a deep understanding on how history is related through inanimate objects.

    Course highlights:

I was able to memorize more than 250 pieces of artwork for the AP test. I passed the AP test with flying colors, all thanks to Mr. Smith. With taking this course, I am now capable of looking at architecture and paintings all around the world and decipher their meanings and inspirations. Art has many ties to history and all of that can be revealed through AP Art History.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Enjoy the course to your most fullest. I found this class to be the most fun out of all my years in high school so far. It's simply amazing to just look at art pieces and be able to find their correlations to history and art historical periods.
