This class was tough.
I would recommend it to those who are passionate about history, or else it is a very difficult course to get through. Although the course is still a tad eurocentric, it still covers countries such as South Africa and Mongolia not covered in typical American education.
I enjoyed learning about the entire world as a whole. It is important to understands the cause and effects of certain events that shape current events today. I realized the connections between religion, culture and language, which overall widened my perspective on great expanse of life.

Advice for students:
Read the textbook and watch all the crash course videos on youtube. Do not be afraid to come into office hours, the essays are though and something you can not avoid. This is an information-overload course, try to create study groups to share notes because the textbook is thicker than the dictionary.
