    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The class involves more information than a typical high school history class. Individuals actually learn about the country and how it formed into today's society. It involves a lot of reading and notes, like an advance placement class should.

    Course highlights:

I learned the significance behind Columbus Day. How presidents or politicians acted like in the past, specifics really stood out to me and made me more interested than a regular history class. Mr. Taylor really knows his dates and puts a lot of effort into his lectures so students understand how certain times were like and what was going on throughout the entire chapter.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read every detail and every chapter. You should know how to write organized paragraphs and know background information on topics mentioned during document based questions. The teacher also wants students to participate, so make sure you read before class. If you enjoy writing, you will enjoy the class.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It's not a ton of work, but it's quality work. However, in this class you're allowed to voice your opinion and see others and get a better perception on others and even yourself.

    Course highlights:

S.O.C.! This is a part of the class where Rod gives us a topic that we have to write on for a minute straight and then its open to the class to share their ideas.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

It's hard work, and I was scared when I got Rod, but it's do-able and in the end you as a person will have grown. Rod cares for you like no other!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

this course helped me with my writing skills and focused on many components which I never had the chance to acquire in my past English years.

    Course highlights:

I gained some real insight into my writing as well as grammer and spelling errors that I had no idea I was doin wrong.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I absolutely needed to read every book we read in class, without reading there is almost no chance of passing. However, if you do read passing the class is a breeze.
