Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course not only increased my writing prowess but also helped to foster healthy debate and improve my tactics in civil discussion.

    Course highlights:

AP Language as an exam is truly a culmination of what most students learn in english classes throughout their academic career, so it was up to the teacher to introduce new strategies as well as develop those already in place.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Write a lot, and when you're done writing, read. And then write more, practice will allow you the skills to succeed in this course.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

While this was a very challenging course with a large variety of topics to master, my teacher prepared me to earn a 5 on my AP exam and armed me with tools to be successful no matter what class I am in. I encourage you to stick it out and really strive to improve your writing, because with the constant drive and encouragement from my teacher, I improved my essay scores by almost triple what they were at the beginning of the year.

    Course highlights:

I loved this course because I learned how to write more than one type of essay that will be required for me in college and the prep for the AP test taught me more about studying and prepping for tests than any other class ever did.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

This is not an easy class and it is very writing heavy, however you will leave this class being able to write and analyze essays better than ever before. It will make you a more critical reader and learner and prepare you for difficult college level English classes.
