    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would certainly recommend this course to anyone with a math based mind. I, however, do not have that and I hated this class because of it. It is only math based science, and is a very difficult class, but it is fun if you enjoy the math.

    Course highlights:

The highlights are when we learned actual science, not just math. We learned the chemical properties of many different substances, how they react with each other, and why they will act that way every single time. It is a truly enlightening course that teaches you not just the what, but the why.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This is a very demanding course, so I wouldn't recommend putting it in your hardest year of school. This should be your only challenging class of the year, if you can help it.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because in this one you stay well involved in the actual theme of chemistry. You complete many labs and you see real life effects of mixing two solutions together.

    Course highlights:

During this course i'va memorized many of the basic compounds that could be dangerous. I have been introduced with MSDSs, and what substances to not mix. Very interesting class!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Simple, if you are ready for intertaining chemistry problems and doing hands-on labs this one's for you!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is tough! But its worth it! if you are good at math and/or science this is a fun class with a lot of information and will largely expand you're level of knowledge when it comes to chemistry.

    Course highlights:

We studied a wide variety of a lot of subjects. There was focus on everything from electricity to molecular shape.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention and show up! Miss one day and it takes you a week to catch up. I would also highly recommend sitting by people who know what they are doing and participating in group work. Make sure you understand what is happening before moving on or you will never understand that concept.
