    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because I did not know very much about government, and this course takes the students into detail about how the government functions and the separation of powers.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course included the projects on the court cases. Instead of attempting to go over each course in a lecture, the students had to prepare a 10 minute presentation about a significant court case. This helped me remember the basic details of the cases.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

For any students planning on taking this course, make sure you are always paying attention! Though that previous statement is a given, the test questions are unlike any you've seen before and so to ensure that you will get any given question right, make sure you have a thorough understanding of each topic.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It was a very great class. Mr. Helsel was a fun teacher and gave me a lot of information and knowledge. It was, however, a very difficult class. It was challenging. But I personally like challenging, so the class was good for me. If you don't like challenge or have a very small background of American history I recommend you do not take the class.

    Course highlights:

I learned so much in this class. I learned about The United States of America. It's history and it's philosophy. This class was so interesting. I also gained a lot of life experience, such as; study skills, writing, -!: perseverance.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Work hard in this class. Do not give up. This class is difficult but it is worth it. Ask for help, raise your hand, be your own counselor. Make the best decisions to get you through this class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Its a fun class and atmosphere to be in. The teacher is funny, so it doesn't hurt

    Course highlights:

You mostly learn in more detail about history that happened in the US as well in more depth of the subject

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The only advice I would say for this specific course is to do your homework. Fortunately, I had a teacher that believed in class work and not alot in home work.
