    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I believe people should have a more complete knowledge of the media's history and operations. What people acknowledge as the media has many different facets or divisions, and the media is not monolithic but consists of many different media and perspectives.

    Course highlights:

I learned some more history of American journalism. As well, I learned how to optimize content for online platforms, how best to interview people, and better revision and editing skills.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Even if you are not a journalism or communications-related major, it is very important to understand an industry that has so much influence over our daily lives. So much of the information we use to make decisions in life is based out of media outlets.
