    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This guy is the best, and he knows everything about geology. If you show up to class and make a point to talk to the professor after class, you'll do great. It isn't just about rocks

    Course highlights:

Don't build nuclear power plants on subduction zones!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Show up to class and do the homework. That's all there is to this class. It's interesting, but I know a lot of people take it because it's easier than the other environmental sciences

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It's an easy course that'll probably fulfill your science elective requirement. The tests can be easy if you study at least a little. Also, when attendance is low, he'll check to came to class and give extra credit for those people.

    Course highlights:

We learned about basic geology, like types of rocks, soils, renewable and nonrenewable energies as well as other things like stream formation and pollution.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely read the book. The professor doesnt go over everything in class. About half the test is from the book only. Also, attend class regularly; he will mention things is class that aren't in the book but are on the test. Typically on quiz days, he will mention the answer to the quiz in class during the lecture.
