Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course taught me an over consuming amount of information about music and also taught me how to write lengthy papers and book reports. The class is exciting and I would recommend it everyone who likes music to take it.

    Course highlights:

I learned everything about popular music from the 1950's until present day. The classed showed me how popular evolves overtime and allowed me to realize what is happening to music today. The class also taught me how to express my emotions and thoughts through journals.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I advise students to be prepared for a lot of reading, wriitng, and listening. The class required a 5-10 page paper and a book report every other week, but helped us learn more about the material. I would be prepared to not be lazy.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Dean Jackson (the Dean of Students) is an absolutely incredible woman who goes out of her way to ensure the individual success of each of her students. This course is designed to be an introduction to college, however, she accomplishes that goal and so much more. Her first generation college background was a huge inspiration to me as I am also a first generation. She really breaks the overwhelming process of college down for someone who has no idea what to expect.

    Course highlights:

In my opinion, this is the most important class that I have taken in my entire educational career. Three years ago and I'm still being motivated by the words of Dean Jackson. I learned to take full advantage of every opportunity presented to me and to make the absolute best of it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be open minded. Stay positive. Trust her! She knows what she's doing, she's been in the same exact shoes you're standing in and she overcame the obstacles in front of her. Let her help you!

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Awesome teacher. We were able to express ourselves, and everything was confidential.

    Course highlights:

We learned a lot about death and dying, and also the first year experience requirements.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely take it if you're interested in death and dying or wanting to learn how to cope with the experience of a loss.
