    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Brent (or DB as we call him) is very close to the ideal teacher; he is funny, engaging, flexible in his teaching styles, and keeps your interest in the class. My only problem with the class is the lecture style of it although it is in a classroom rather than an actual lecture hall - it feels like the class should be smaller and more engaging than it is.

    Course highlights:

The class was very interesting! I learned a lot about the criminal justice system as well as a little about psychology and prison systems. DB is a very for-the-person type of criminal justice expert, and it is refreshing to see that someone is actually trying to do something about the injustices and unfairness of many implementations of the criminal justice system (both written and unwritten).

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the chapters! Yes, they are very long, but they are interesting and will help you ace the exams!
