Calc is already a hard subject but Professor Zou made it easier to understand the subject. The test and quizzes are easy and is over everything she goes over in class.

Course Overview:
It is a great amount of knowledge that is needed for engineering students. I had no have no strong feelings either way due to the fact that it is a course most people only take if it required for their major.
Course highlights:
Throughout the course I learned how to take derivatives and integrals. I also learned how to apply this knowledge into finding certain minimums and maximums of data ranges. This is useful for finding extremes and points of a data range where things are at peak values. I also learned how to find limits of y-variables of data ranges as the x-variable was approaching a certain value.

Advice for students:
It may sound repetitive, but studying is definitely essential in order to succeed in this course. Don't only study before exams. The preparation for the exams begins as soon as the information is learned in class. You must make time during your week to look over materials and make sure you know them because the course build on itself. This means you must know the earlier taught aspects of calculus in order to be able to perform the later taught aspects.
