    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course helped more than I expected. I learned so much about biology and life. It not only taught me about Biology, but it helped me better prepare for test, group assignments, and anything else I was unclear about. I would recommend this course and professor to anyone looking for more than just facts about Biology!

    Course highlights:

What I gained from this course was much needed knowledge that I never expected to gain from taking a Biology course. I gained test taking skills, social skills, and much more. The content of the course itself was challenging, but well worth learning.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend that anyone taking this course put in as many hours as possible to retain and remember the course material, study, and prepare well for every test.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If you take this course with this professor just be prepared for real life problems. She teaches the basics but her tests are all about applying those basics to real life. Go to her office for extra help. She seems intimidating in lecture, but one on one she is the most helpful.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course is definitely ecology. How cladograms are drawn and labeled. The one thing I can remember is that organisms on the cladogram do not resemble genetics they resemble physical aspects. So the different classifications are based on physical traits.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you study at least 2 hours everyday. Get into study groups, someone might be able to help you or you might even be able to help others. Get a planner. She always has something due on a different day and a planner would save your life.
