Pretty easy, overall.
The instructor was so enthusiastic about teaching the course material that I attended all of his lectures, even on Fridays! His passion for the subject clearly showed in every lecture, and it was obvious that he wanted his students to succeed. My favorite aspect of his teaching style is that not only would he thoroughly explain the concept, but also include a practical, real-world application or example for each concept.
A full understanding of the material covered in this course makes programming a bit easier and lays down the framework for later courses, such as Data Structures, Systems Software, and Theoretical Foundations.

Advice for students:
Do every single practice quiz, practice exam, and quiz on Folio. The questions there are very similar, but not identical, to the exam questions.
