    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because it was an overall great experience, especially as my first ever AP course. Mr. Swanson was a fun and engaging teacher who made learning about US history fun. It wasn't just lectures. Mr. Swanson made activities such as pretending we were "wild banks" during Jacksons presidency when the banks fell apart and many became bankrupt. He also had engaging videos and definitely prepared us for the AP exam (93% pass right). You also have group quizzes and get called on randomly and variety of test.

    Course highlights:

My highlight was definitely having Mr.Swanson as my teacher. He supports his students in and out of the classroom. He's always in his room to answer questions and talk. He also provides tutorials that basically review the entire chapter and highlights points you'll want to know on the test.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

FINISH YOUR NOTES ON TIME, WRITE YOUR OWN NOTES! Find what helps you remember the material whether you think of things in chronological order, era's, presidency, ect. STUDY! Always know the key terms and be able to answer the questions the teachers give you.
