    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Ms. Komori was very nice, but barely spoke English. She didn't even understand the assignments she gave out, and we darn sure couldn't understand her.

    Course highlights:

I learned that it's ok to go to the administration if a teacher isn't really teaching and to work with them to solve the problem

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Choose a different teacher. She would be great as a Japanese teacher, but English is clearly her second language and she really didn't get it.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend taking this course in high school, if it is a possibility. By taking this class in high school you are given more one on one time and your essay writing skills will improve immensely which will help in college.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course is being able to watch your essay writing skills improve in a short period of time. I have learned how to write college level essays a skill that will be useful in college.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this class you must not procrastinate. You need to plan out your essays and read through them carefully. Writing college essays is far more challenging than high school essays.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend taking it because you can get a college credit while still being in high school.

    Course highlights:

We had to write an essay almost every week but my teacher taught me how to properly write an essay and I became very good at it.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise students to not procrastinate on writing essays the night before they are due.
