Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is an amazing experience learning how the United States created its government and why if functions the way it does. I would highly recommend this class because not only do you learn how the government functions but you get to experience it through projects that simulate congress, elections, judicial branch.

    Course highlights:

It gave me an insight into the structure of our government and how it functions and why it does. I learned how our right can be apply and that there are specific circumstances where they don't. At the beginning of the course I was unaware where I stood politically but as I learned about the different politically parties and their interest I became more interested in what is going on with politics. I also gave me the opportunity to simulate a presidential campaign which further helped me understand the process of the 2016 election.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

There are many vocabulary terms so I suggest making flashcards and learning them as you go. Otherwise in the end it will be more difficult to remember everything. Also participation is key specially in the projects because they are a big part of your grade. Projects also give a better understanding of what is being taught.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend the course because when I first started the year I wasn't sure if I really wanted to study law in college and then through the process of this class I have learned to love it so much that I have now declared to Political Science major.

    Course highlights:

I learned so much more about the legislative process and how the process of our country actually works because we did so many simulations such as the presidential elections, The Supreme Court, and even the Judicial review.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just be prepared to do all the vocabulary because it will be your best friend learning and actually knowing what Mrs. Zuniga is talking about.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

You really learn how the government works and how it affects you.

    Course highlights:

The highlight is learning how a campaign runs and what goes behind the scenes. We had a class simulation that described that.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

READ THE BOOK!!! Do not procrastinate and ask questions if you need help.
