    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class is not for everyone but I am absolutely fascinated by psychology. It is the most interesting and applicable class i have taken so far as much of what is taught is theory (not something we are used to in our structured common core classes). Also Ms. Danis is incredible...

    Course highlights:

Basically Psych 101 is an overview of everything. We go very deep into the different theories such as behavioral and cognitive theories. We learn about different psychologists like Sigmon Freud and B.F. Skinner. We also get to participate in a few fun labs and experiments (we had a hypnotist come in once and we get to have a few fun projects where we (sort of) profile strangers/fictional characters).

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you study the vocab and at least skim the readings. Even if you have an incredible memory, refreshing it is never a bad thing especially when there is a cumulative test (for college credit!) at the end of the course. The vocab is very important to know because not only is it often repeated on her test, it is also repeated on future vocab tests.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Psychology is the most interesting of social sciences, especially for someone interested in this area. It is very informative and applicable to everyday life.

    Course highlights:

I LOVE Ms.Danis. She is the sweetest lady in the world. The class is so easy as long as you actually do the readings for every chapter. She offers a lot of bonus points for doing work that you should already be doing anyway.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

It's a easy class if you put in the work and it's not hard to get a 5 on the AP. I used the Barrons prep book, which was very extensive and took practice tests and got a 5. She offers extra credit for taking reading notes and for doing the study guides, so unless you really don't care about anything in the class, you will probably get an A and learn a lot.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because nothing is more interesting to me than the human mind, and space. The human mind is incapable to follow and I find it highly amusing that we try to learn and duplicate it. However, I also know that we do know a great deal of what parts of are brain control where and learning more in depth about this made me much more interested. From the simple words to the most complex psychological diseases, this class made me more interested in humanity than I have ever been.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course would be the neurological problems and how easy it is for the brain to become addicted. I really cannot put a finger on one highlight, but maybe a chapter or two that really caught my attention. I guess the crazy parts were more interesting to me because they seemed much more out of the box and I like that more.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always do the vocab when assigned, starting reading the chapters the day they are assigned and take notes. Never fall behind, always stay on your toes for more work to come. Most of all, enjoy the class more than anything.
