Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course may seem admissible but as a right of passage at UHS, this course gives you an insight to how the government functions and takes your APUSH knowledge and applies it to today's problems.

    Course highlights:

This course taught me a lot about the judicial system and how and why we get the major cases, why they ruled a certain way and has made it easy to predict what future cases will be ruled. The Mock Election project also gives insight to the real world issues the US faces and makes you invest real time and effort to study a topic vital to the US government and you get to make the solutions that are actually feasible.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't dismiss this course just because you are not interested in politics because this course gives real insight to how our government functions and how the system of democracy works. You take all the information you learned in APUSH and apply it to see why history still affects us today, so invest in what you have already learned and apply it so you understand and become a functioning member of society by knowing how the system works.
