    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The teacher is dedicated and shows results. She offers a comprehensive course and genuinely is interested in the success of her students.

    Course highlights:

The early morning coffees offered in class, the interesting topics and the acting out of the plays we were required to read.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You need a strong work ethic and be able to hold yourself accountable. Additionally, you need the dedication to go the extra mile to improve your writing skills and analysis.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Chemistry is a challenging course, especially honors, but it is something that Mrs. Biller knows and takes into account. Chemistry requires effort and patience as well as the courage to ask for help.

    Course highlights:

The labs were fun and exciting, equations not really but they do help and save time.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Challenge yourself and try. Don't wait if you know you aren't doing well, ask for help and take the time to do it. It is fun after you get the hang of it. You might need to take time outside school though to finish labs or get help.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it to students who truly understand what the author's main points are in readings. The reading material in AP Lang/Comp is difficult and requires more attention than any regular reading material because the vocabulary can be very heavy and advanced. If the student also really enjoys writing, it would be a great class for them.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course were learning about the hidden meanings of some author's works which I would never realize if I hadn't taken this class.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Students should be prepared to write essays that require much more effort than the regular essays they've been doing. The essays need to be far more advanced and require more time. Also there's a lot of reading done in the class, so if the student isn't as an advanced reader, it will be alright because they can advance but if they need the help then they should not be shy to ask for help.
