    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because it prepares you for a bright future. After leaving this class you are left with a new understanding of language, and a new perspective on the entire idea of communication among people.

    Course highlights:

We read several books and became very strong writers. There were several projects that opened our minds to a world beyond what our small city ever allowed us to understand. It was a difficult class at times, but it was challenging for the better.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do it. Go for it. Read the books and write the essays to the best of your ability. You will gain so much knowledge and become so much stronger as a person, reader, and author.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It was a fun and interesting class. We explored topics from many different points of view. As the rhetor, as a analyst etc.

    Course highlights:

I have gained insight on topics that haven't paid attention to in the past. These older books are still relatable to modern day events and people.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

read each book assigned and take notes to assure that you understand and remember.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class is you have a passion in English or even find it interesting. We have a lot of great discussions. We apply the real world to our readings. We learn different philosophies and go in depth with the reading. The teacher is very interesting and it's always a good time in that class.

    Course highlights:

I learned how one thing in a book can symbolize a whole greater meaning. I learned about colleges. I still am learning in this class how to have a discussion. I'm learning how to take notes. It teaches more than just English.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

It is a lot of reading so pace yourself. Take good notes. Pay attention. Really try to understand the book and have good discussions.
