Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because you can definately learn from the composition tests. This class will also help you build writing skills. It is not a very difficult course so it is a great place to start. The tests are short and the writing prompts are very interesting.

    Course highlights:

The essays were fun to write because they were creative prompts. The instructions to write the essays were descriptive and easy to follow. The tests were short, only about 15 questions each, and I learned much from them, including very important MLA rules that I was unaware of before.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Even though I did it on almost every essay, do not wait til the last minute to write your paper! Also be sure you read the directions very carefully so that you don't miss anything. They are very lengthy and it can be easy to miss a key rule in writing your essay.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is very helpful in preparing for college classes. Not too many students take this class so getting help from the teacher is very easy. We read different literature and wrote papers that expanded my vocabulary and history knowledge.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to write an extended essay. I learned how to annotate thoroughly and write an annotated bibliography for different sources. I also learned how to know whether or not a source is reliable. The highlights of this course were reading The Great Gatsby and writing a research paper on any subject that we would like.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to take this course, you must not procrastinate. It is essential to keep up with the readings and really have critical thinking skills. I would recommend studying grammar notes and really pat attention to the tips the teacher gives for the final year exam.
