Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I think the teacher was excellent at balancing both engagement, and education. It's not enough to just teach kids, as more often than not, kids have their own agenda when it comes to paying attention. Mrs. Aschliman made sure to keep her kids engaged and entertained by the content. Kids were happy to be in class, and were more than happy to pay attention.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot more about films themselves and the history of film. I've never much considered my self a movie connoisseur, but after this class, it's nice to know about more popular or renown movies and to be able to recite interesting information. I watch films in a whole new way, anymore, watching them for their symbolic or education content, rather than just for entertainment purposes.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this course, PAY ATTENTION. Pay attention to more than just the face value of the films, and more about the composition of the film, and the underlying educational or symbolic meanings and lessons to be taught.
