    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend it to students who wish to succeed in college and beyond but not for others who lack time management skills, because the work load is so heavy you will be required to read and complete homework assignments at least 3 hours out of any given day.

    Course highlights:

I appreciate reading more now because of Ms. Muir, I strongly disliked reading at the beginning of the year but she pushed me to a unprecedented level by grading more difficult than any teacher I have had before.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Study, complete assignments on time, don't procrastinate---- IT WILL and your downfall.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Overall, this course was enjoyable solely because Mr. Pringle was the teacher. His persona and teaching strategies made it enjoyable and worthwhile to be a student in his class. I've had him for 3 years and I'm going to miss his classes when I leave high school.

    Course highlights:

The best thing about his AP Lit class was that we learned about life. We learned about the deep, gritty, ambiguous meaning in every piece we read. From Frankenstein to Hamlet, to Cold Mountain and No Exit, we discussed every phrase, every word, every little piece and applied it to our lives. Why is this book important? How do the characters relate to us? What can we take from this to outside of the classroom?

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do your work! Suck it up and get the work done because it won't do itself. Ask your teachers questions if you don't understand something. I made the mistake plenty of times by being too shy and not wanting to sound stupid, so I would refrain from raising my hand. Don't make that same mistake. Talk to your teachers because they are there to help you.
