    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Despite the tremendous amount of work, AP Literature and Composition is an extremely entertaining course where full class discussions, often led by students, allow us to view literature in a completely different perspective.

    Course highlights:

Full class discussions, the highlight of this course, are one of the most entertaining and effective learning styles. These discussions allow the student to ultimately obtain a greater understanding of novels, plays, and poetry.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

AP Literature and Composition is an entertaining and very beneficial course if one does not procrastinate on their independent reading, completes all assignments, and is prepared to discuss what you have learned each day.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because not only did it teach me the history of literature I have been made to read over the course of my high school career, but I was taught about the lives of the authors and made to truly understand what they experienced, therefore why they wrote the way they did. I have loved getting to know the personal side of literature and its contenders, I would not trade the knowledge from this class for the world.

    Course highlights:

In this course I was taught to understand every reading I did, therefore causing me to learn to truly commit time to reading literature outside of school. When I took more time to thoroughly understand each reading, my grades reflected it and I knew I felt more confident and ready for college with this understanding.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise anyone considering this course to make sure they are willing to commit time of their own to dissect and understand any literature they are assigned to read. They benefits far outweigh the inconvenience.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because I feel like it really prepared me for college. This is a course that is a lot of work, but can be really fun if you find the fun in it and just try your best.

    Course highlights:

I learned to appreciate good literature and what it has to offer. I learned to recognize that every piece of literature is probably from another.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

It may be demanding at some points, but overall it will be worth it. It will show you things you didn't know before and make you very happy you took it.
