    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because the analyzation of text is extremely in depth. Class discussions and expectations can thoroughly prepare one to speak about literature for minutes on end.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of the course was being exposed to literature from around the world. Some of the most valuable books in the course can draw a connection between history and literature. I learned that learning more about literature can help understand history more, when the same goes for learning literature when one is previously exposed to history.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The most important tool to succeed is interest. I recommend making personal connections to the literatures in order to create more interest in evaluating the text.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class is a great college preparatory class, as its structure mirrors it strikingly.

    Course highlights:

I learned to do all of the course work, read all of the readings, and to take advantage of all extra help.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make outlines for your readings, and make sure you read and review all the readings in depth. Read with care and alertness and know the details of the work that you study. Never wait until the last minute to complete the reading.
