    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I do not know how to describe how incredibly different this class is from other courses offered. Readings for class ranged from aliens, bigfoot to origin myths. There is a little bit of everything in this course, art and culture with also fairytale teachings. The main problem with this course was the amount of information and reading needed for each test. Course material interesting but rigorous study material.

    Course highlights:

My favorite thing was learning about what folklore meant and how it can apply to your everyday tasks and experiences. This class taught me to see and approach problems in the world differently because I learned to appreciate the influences my culture and folklore has taught me.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not skip class, even if you are falling over sick with a cold. The test has questions about what she mentioned in class so if you miss class, you will not be able to answer the questions. Also read everything you are assigned because the test covers everything that you might not even think is important.
