    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The exams were much tougher than the course lessons and textbook. I felt that even though I felt prepared after studying, I really was never prepared enough for the complexity of the questions on the exam.

    Course highlights:

I was able to learn more about the marketing world and how businesses are successful and unsuccessful in the different ways they market their products.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

You definitely need to read the textbook. It is much more detailed than the class lessons, and I definitely recommend studying a lot for the exams.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would certainly recommend this course to anyone wanting to further their knowledge of basic marketing. In this course, the most helpful aspect was formulating a marketing plan. By formulating the plan, you learned how a company and its brand function.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot in this course. I learned how the marketplace functions, how companies and brands entice consumers, and what makes a good company/brand.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study hard for the tests! The questions might seem simple, but they are actually quite tricky. You have to be prepared to discuss any topic.
