    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I was never really interested in small components of biology, but Dr. Burt makes it very interesting, and always keeps the tests and class load fair.

    Course highlights:

I've definitely gained a better appreciation for biology, and science as a whole.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class, read the text book, and pay attention to what Burt says is important. The class isn't hard, but it does take time on your part to go over, and study the material.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The course was difficult to say the least, only four tests, no other assignments, the teacher wasn't especially helpful outside of class, although he did answer any question you'd ask in class and encouraged students to ask questions. The tests were hard and the majority of the class didn't do well. He made powerpoints and also used the pre-made powerpoints. Lots of diagram and process memorization

    Course highlights:

The biggest thing we studied was protein synthesis. We studied the different processes, like the translation and transcription of rna

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You have to study for this class. You can't just listen and try to remember. To do well in this class you need to take detailed notes, review the powerpoints after EVERY CLASS. It's so easy to fall behind with studying because he covers so much material in so little time and the tests are so far apart.
