    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is a great class that allows me to go in depth with what we are learning and go beneath the surface of "chemistry." It is a very enjoyable, yet challenging class that requires me to use critical thinking, memorization, and application on all the problems we try to solve.

    Course highlights:

The course has allowed me to learn that chemistry was more than just the periodic table and acids/bases. After taking Gifted Chemistry sophomore year, I expected an easy class that I would not have to put the effort in since I learned the basics before. I quickly learned that this was not the case and I found all the challenges enjoyable. My favorite topic was the different bonds that each molecule uses. Discovering the different shapes and how each bond can affect each molecule was a fascinating topic and it has changed the way I think with all the substances around me.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise the students to constantly review the notes and do practice problems. Make sure you understand the basics before you go on to the math portion (make sure you understand why the math happens this way). Do not just memorize the formulas, but make sure you understand the formulas and why you use them.
