Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class has helped me become more aware of the different social and political aspects. I went into the class thinking it would be very boring, however, I learned many different things that applied to the real world. Coach Bates has encouraged me to be more politically active by voting and more.

    Course highlights:

Prior to the class, I was very socially/politically unaware of the way our government works. I considered myself to have a very low political efficacy (something you will learn in the class), and I desired to be more aware. Although I have not finished taking the class, I have learned so much already in how our country works politically and more.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not take the class as a joke. Although Coach Bates goes very easy on you, you should still study hard and work hard.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is very interesting if you like social studies! The debates are fun and we do something different in the class everyday, making it exciting and not boring. As long as you do the practice quizzes and pay attention on lecture days, you will do great on the tests.

    Course highlights:

My favorite things to learn about in the class were political parties and how the Supreme Court works, as well as the rulings in different famous cases.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Take the quizzes multiple times! It may get annoying, but this is how I studies and I got a 93 in the class without the 10 points. The class is not difficult at all if you do the work that it takes to succeed. Good Luck!
