Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It's highly educational and provides learning about learning thus you can earn how to absorb the information better and retrieve it with ease later. The course is organized in such a way that you know when to do the work and when to turn it in and when you're having tests or quizzes giving adequate time to prepare

    Course highlights:

I've learned a lot about the chemistry of the brain but for me the most interesting unit is the perspectives of psychology because you learn so much about how people viewed the world in the past and how they believed our minds worked and the reasonings behind our behaviors.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Plan your time very carefully and break up the notes assigned, you will thank yourself later when you are not trying to finish 20 pages of cornell notes in the first 4 periods of the day while focusing on other classes

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend taking AP Psychology because it is a great course to take if you are planning to go to college and especially if you are interested in any part of the medical field. You will study a lot about different people and their theories and experiments. You are required to take an AP exam at the end of the year. The benefit of taking this course and getting a 3,4, or 5 on the exam is that many colleges accept AP Psychology (with an exam score of 3,4 or,5) as a college course- Psychology is a required course in college.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about the brain that I had never imagined would be useful. I learned about different theories and experiments the psychologists and other people originally studied to create such thing as psychology. I also learned about sleep and how every day habits that people have, actually make it difficult for you to get the proper rest and recuperation you need. The part I find most interesting is the developmental stages of the human body, from conception to birth to childhood and adolescence to adulthood and lastly death. The stages in growth and change and the changes in development of the brain is amazing.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely keep up with readings and homework, take good quality and understandable notes, and make effective study times and habits, and most importantly ask all questions. Noquestion is a stupid question, unless you do not ask.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I had so much fun in AP Psychology last year! But more importantly, I learned very practical information about mental health and the brain. I have been able to apply my knowledge in other classes as well as in real life. Plus I have tons of fun facts to amaze my friends!

    Course highlights:

I loved learning about mental health and the behavior of other people. It was great to be able to understand why people do some of the weird things they do. Also, the case studies/experiments we learned about are fascinating. I know I'll remember them for a long time.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

This class really is not hard at all, as long as you take good notes and read the book thoroughly. Ask questions. Take a genuine interest in the content. Flashcards for vocabulary are really helpful. I got a 5 on this exam, so it's very doable! :)
