Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Collins is an absolutely amazing teacher. He brings in modern references into World History to help you remember the information and he gives you realistic goals for what you have to do on the AP test.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about the history of the world up until the Salem Witch trials and the Spanish Inquisition. I absolutely loved this class.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure that when he assigns something, you immediately start working on it. You NEED to make sure of this because while this is something you can finish the night before, you won't get to bed until nearly midnight if you it properly.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is a great course to take if you are interestead in learning about multiple different time periods and repetition in history. However, I do not recommend this course if you have a short term memory due to the many things you will cover and be tested on.

    Course highlights:

I gained knowledge that continues to help me in other courses such as IB psychology, AP Human Geography, and TOK. The most interesting thing I discovered was how similar many of the disputes and wars were, as well as how other historical things repeated.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make many flash cards and always take thorough notes that you will be able to read quickly and remember.

    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course, because of its ability to challenge you and overall grasp of so many different subjects, combined into one. Overall, this made many things difficult to memorize, but with a teacher as great as Mr.Collins, the information was much easier to try and remember.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this class where how creative Mr.Collins would try to be with such a difficult subject, and how he'd always keep us interested in what we learned, which was not an easy job for a History teacher.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do your homework, read, study, and take down all the notes, because details really matter!!
