Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It was challenging, and fast paced. Lots of limits!!

    Course highlights:

I became thoroughly prepared for Calculus AB because of this course.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always ask the teacher for extra help when needed. Also, use the resources such as the online website for the class or homework club, or even just stop by your teachers class during study hall or after school or during lunch to get extra help. Your growth and academic success is all in your hands.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it is a course that teaches you what math you'll need to know in the real world and how to apply it.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to balance check books, pay mortgages, take out loans, and even how to make monthly payments on cars.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention because it will help out in the long run.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Mattison makes the learning of the new subjects easy, fun, and sometimes even puts the situations into story problems. He keeps you active, occasionally letting people work together, and helps you understand difficult topics.

    Course highlights:

Some of the highlights were: able to learn how to take effective notes, learn how math truly plays a factor in life, and much more. For example, around the time of the 2016 election, we spent an entire class learning how the voting systems work, and why some of the political ideas are crazy, but they do make sense.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be effective with your note taking, for that can be the key to whether or not you pass the class. Also, don't be a procrastinator, because he may not have the homework due until the test, but doing all 4-6 assignments in one night does not help.
