Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is very detailed and you are able to learn a lot about the government. It is also a very unique course because a lot of the things you learn are used in present day scenarios.

    Course highlights:

So far, I've learned a lot about the constitution and how that has helped shaped the United States government today. You also learn a lot about the wars that occurred and how that has influenced the way the government was run during those time periods.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I always made sure I did my assignments on time. Another big tip is to always ask questions. Sometimes the topics you go over in class can be confusing, so getting clarification is the key to success.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Not many people are aware of how processes are taken care of by our government or why certain people vote the way they do. In AP Government you learn so much of cases that have changed laws and of theories that define the way the live and how our government runs things. This course is the gateway to understanding politics and Mrs.Beovich was the absolute best teacher because she explains it with such enthusiasm that it kept me interested.

    Course highlights:

I learned exactly why laws getting passed takes so long. That it involves a very thorough process between the president but mostly directed through Congress. I learned about the powers that every branch has in order to check and balance each other. Also about open and closed primaries and how they help narrow down who becomes the main candidate in presidential elections.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the homework it is for your benefit. Actually paying attention to the homework helps you understand what is going on in class and allows the information to be reiterated because you read about it and then the next day you hear about it. If you actually give it a chance then you'll realize that the information is actually really interesting and useful in real life. Especially when election time comes around.
