Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

English II was very fun, we did lots of Socratic Seminars which not only helped us thoroughly understand the text, it also helped us build our confidence. We read Macbeth which was a really interesting play and we watched parts of it which allowed for a clear understanding of the events that unfolded. English wasn't really my strongest subject, but because of Ms. Goldberg's teaching style it became a little easier for me.

    Course highlights:

I now know the proper way to right an essay on given articles, improving my writing skills and my understand of specific subjects. It also learned to break out of my shell and got comfortable with my classmates.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

When reading don't focus on speed, your focus should be more on comprehension. When you understand what you read it makes it easier for you to answer questions and to write essays on what you read. Start learning words that you may not understand while you're reading, write them down, then look them up.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course and teacher becaude it is fun and challenging at the same time. There's never a dull moment.

    Course highlights:

My time in this course had many highlights. My favorite was the moment we started a new book. Not only do we get to read a new book with new adventures but we also get a greater insight on the meaning behind the story or poem. The teacher gracefully attends to each students needs.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Enjoy reading books and challenge your ideas.
