Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

English II was very fun, we did lots of Socratic Seminars which not only helped us thoroughly understand the text, it also helped us build our confidence. We read Macbeth which was a really interesting play and we watched parts of it which allowed for a clear understanding of the events that unfolded. English wasn't really my strongest subject, but because of Ms. Goldberg's teaching style it became a little easier for me.

    Course highlights:

I now know the proper way to right an essay on given articles, improving my writing skills and my understand of specific subjects. It also learned to break out of my shell and got comfortable with my classmates.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

When reading don't focus on speed, your focus should be more on comprehension. When you understand what you read it makes it easier for you to answer questions and to write essays on what you read. Start learning words that you may not understand while you're reading, write them down, then look them up.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend the AP English course because you are challenged with reading comprehension and writing skills that help to prepare you for college.

    Course highlights:

The highlight was learning how to write analytical essays

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advice them to ask questions, read often, and get tutoring if needed.
